a u.s. study found that people who were vaccinated against the h1n1 flu virus in 1976 exhibited a much stronger immune response against the 2009 h1n1 strain than those who didn't get the shot that year. the 1976 vaccine was "declared one of the greatest public health blunders of all time, and now we are finding out that it actually did some good," the study's lead researcher said. reuters (
