Pretty much these days it is best to be careful about believing what you hear on our media outlets...there is a great deal of fear mongering, fact stretching, and finger pointing taking priority over actual responsible reporting. Your wait and see attitude is wise.

According to the Associated Press, large companies in New York City that have on-site medical staff are allowed to apply for the vaccine. They receive it, however, with the caveat that only high-risk employees are to be vaccinated; e.g., pregnant women. Goldman Sachs and Citibank have received the vaccine, as have Columbia University and the Federal Reserve Bank. A spokeswoman for the city's health department told the AP that only half of the city's pediatricians have applied for it.

The theme of the recent CIDRAP Conference in Minneapolis was "Keeping the World Working" during the pandemic. There were many international as well as North American company reps that spoke. They are indeed, protecting their critical staff with antivirals. Will they do vaccines as well? Probably.

Good Year was present and has many employees overseas. Think of a power company in Canada where if their employees are out sick, it effects many, many other people. It is in everyone's best interest to protect critical infrastructure. The question is, what is defined as critical?

Critical infrastructure is a term used by governments to describe assets that are essential for the functioning of a society and economy. ...

That is nice they are donating. People in Pittsburgh are really upset about the way the vaccine was allocated. It was in no way connected to need.
