Re: Evidence of swine flu risk to pregnant women rises
This is what is happening in China, to stop the spread of H1N1. They say it
may have worked....... If it did, you can expect more mandatory vaccination happening here, schools closing, businesses closed, and no movie theaters open, no trips to the supermarket, or travel anywhere!
If doing that could save the lives of one mother and baby, would all that be worth it to you?
It would be to me. You can't morally put a price on lives, especially those of unborn babies, so get the vaccine, folks,
before you have the one for seasonal flu, as it's been shown statistically in Canada, with 2,000 people that H1N1 flu frequently occurs after someone gets the seasonal flu vaccine. There's plenty of time before seasonal flu gets here in late Dec., Jan., Feb., and March. I got the seasonal flu vaccine at the beginning of September, and then got what appeared to be H1N1 flu a month or so later - for the second time. Anecdotal I know, and the whole story of the statistics being assembled now, will be known next year.
The article below came from the New York Times
Reuters
".......A student receives a H1N1 vaccine injection at a hospital in Suining, Sichuan province, China, on Wednesday.
Quarantines and medical detentions are among the aggressive measures that Chinese officials have taken to slow the transmission of H1N1, which quickly spread worldwide after being first diagnosed in North America.
To howls of protest from around the world,
China isolated entire planeloads of people entering the country if anyone on the plane exhibited
flu-like symptoms."
