What's it like to work in a interventional pain clinic?

  1. 0 i have posted in other areas of this site about my search for a job. briefly, i am a rn who worked for 14 years in acute care--most of that in critical care, then became a stay-at-home mom for 12+ years. i recently completed a refresher course to reactivate my license (to my dismay, there was no "hands-on" skills practice included). my question to those of you in pain management is what is involved in a position in an interventional pain clinic? i have no idea what skills would be required. (this position is in a large, well-respected medical center.) thanks for any insight you give me!! (i need to know something about it before i decide if i want to apply.)
