Pain Control for Procedures

by accent

As the nurse manager of an oncology unit, I'm interested in finding out the pain management strategy when performing bone marrow biopsies & procedures like the insertion of a chest tube. Both being performed on the unit itself. Do you use moderate sedation at all on the unit?

Thanks
