My Hakf Day Of Withdrawal

Last Wednesday was the worst! Tuesday evening was time for a Fentanyl patch change. I was on the 100 mcg patch (or should I say that the patch was on me?) and I had been alternating left and right upper arms. Well, because of some red welts, I decided to try the lower left flank.

Wednesday morning I awoke in w/d. Constant cold and hot alternation, lack of energy, etc. Pain Nurse told me to apply new patchh ( after discarding old one) back on upper arm. Within minutes, I was good as new.

At my regulartly scheduled appointment the next day, we decided to end the patch experiment and went back to 100mg MS Contin BID and 30 mg Roxicodone TID for BT.

An amazing experience although one I could have done without!

Alan

Alan I'm not sure what you are asking, but as Karen posted earlier we don't give medical advice here. The best thing is to take it to your health care provider. I'm sorry the fentanyl proved to be ineffective though.
