How did you arrive in pain management?

I'm a former biologist starting an MSN program, and one of the areas that interests me is pain management. I was wondering how you came to this particular specialization.

Thanks.

Default Re: How did you arrive in pain management?
As a LTCF RN, pain management was handed to me by my DON. Along with being weekend supervisor, I was given the assignments of IC, pain management, restraint management, and devising and implementing a falls prevention program. My pain and restraint management programs both won major state awards.
