Cardiac sheaths in the PACU


is anyone else pulling the sheaths in the PACU. Our Cardiologists are wanting to change over the rooms quicker and they are wanting to send them to us and have them pulled? Do you have a policy for it? Who is responsible for it when the PNP is doing the pulling but you have accepted report on the patient...We are a pediatric PACU and our patients will come and be left with no anesthesia coverage and a cardiac cath tech until the PNP arrives to pull them and put the dressing on...
