Villanova University- May 2010

Hi there,
I originally applied to the alternative sequence accelerated option that begins in the fall of 2009 that is two years. I'm finishing up my bachelors of science and am graduating in two weeks! I recently received an email offering for me to do the one year May 2010 BSNExpress program, which I gladly accepted! I just received the official letter in the mail last week. I have taken almost all of my prerequisite courses and still need to complete pathophysiology and 6 credits of religion/theology. I'll probably take all of them at one of the local community colleges.

Thanks for your kind words! My GPA is about a 3.2 (averaging my GPA from university and community college classes). I think you are on the right track with having your transcripts reviewed. The staff were extremely helpful when I was applying.

I don't want to jump to conclusions but yes, I think you can go ahead and apply. They let me know which classes I need to take before beginning the program after they accepted me. So, if for some reason you need to retake a class or have to complete prerequisites, they will still accept you as long as you complete the classes before you start the program in May.
