Villanova BSN Express

oooh...very cool. I currently live in Philadelphia and graduated from Temple University with a B.S in Biology. I worked in a pediatric hospital for about a year and a half and absolutely felt like I my eyes were opened up to what I've been wanted to do for a while. So I decided to pursue nursing, not only because you can be a tremendous help to the public, but nowadays, it is amazing job security!

So I have a dilemma! I have my Jefferson acceptance, but the deposit is due by December 3rd...I had my Villanova interview on November 4, and they said I would hear back from them in the beginning of December. Do I suck it up and pay the 200.00 to Jeff (just in case), and lose the money if I am accepted to Villanova (first choice)? Or do you think I could email the director and explain my situation at either school?

During my interview at Villanova, they explained to me that if you received an acceptance from another program, they usually could make an early decision for you. Talk to Villanova. I'm sure they'll understand.

I was accepted a couple of days ago into Villanova's program...it's my first choice, I'm so excited!!

For all of you who have received an acceptance...

Do we send a deposit somewhere? My letter said they would send me a welcome packet by March, but nothing in my acceptance letter said anything about sending something in?

has anyone else heard from the BSN express program at Villanova? I had an interview in October and they said I would hear by mid-December but I am realllly nervous

I think you and I must have interviewed on the same day for the Villanova BSNExpress program. I was there on Nov. 4th, I interviewed right after I voted . Do you remember who you interviewed with..?

I was really nervous, and I've not heard back.. They said I would hear back by mid-December..

I guess I'm especially worried because my current job is becoming too unbearable.. If I hear back, at least I know I'll suffer for only a few more months..

I interviewed on the 4th too, with Dr. Mariani! Try not to get too anxious waiting, I only found out this soon because I had to let Jefferson know whether I wanted to send a deposit in by the end of November. Good luck!

PRINCESSAJAMMA who did you interview with in October? I interviewed with Bette Marianni, PhD, RN, on November 4th and have not heard back.. getting nervous too..

A nice letter in the mail would be nice.. Everyday I come home, I rush to the mailbox..lol..

Thanx -so- much for your words, they mean a lot to me.. I guess I'm just getting a little worked-up about not knowing/ the suspense.. It's exciting but nerve racking too..

I applied to four schools and have only heard back from one (bad news from UPitt) who instead of sending -me- a rejection letter, sent it to my parents in CA..! ..lol.. PS I live in Bucks County, PA.. .

So I have three schools to wait for, AND a whole lot of suspense.. Stay tuned..
