I took classes at community college (not CCAC) prior to enrolling at Shadyside. The only classes that transfer are the classes that are part of Shadyside's curriculum (A&P 1 and 2, micro, logic, nutrition). If you took other classes, it might look great for your transcript or GPA, but Shadyside really doesn't care about those other classes. As far as those classes helping you in the future with a BSN, depends where you go for your BSN. I am going to Chatham and they don't require any gen ed classes at all for a BSN. Basically, I ended up wasting a handful of classes, which sounds like what will happen to you if you choose the Shadyside route.
