Yeah, I'm hoping to write mine tonight since I have no homework so I can actually sit down and think for a while. I have problems explaining why I want to go somewhere, I know what I want to say but I find it difficult to explain it in a way they will want to accept me. I wish I could get it out Saturday but I gave one to my teacher 3 weeks ago and every week she keeps finding something else to ask me. Like if she can type it or hand write it, or if she was supposed to send it in or give it back to me. Which I clearly explained everything to her when I gave it to her to begin with. Oh well, I will see her Monday so hopefully she finally finished it.

As far as parking for the test you are allowed to park in the AAA lot across the street just make sure when you leave the test you tell the guard that's where you parked and he will give you a token to get out. For traffic what time is your test? At times traffic isn't a problem but at others it could be. And also where are you from? Since you mentioned you weren't from Pittsburgh.
Thanks for the advice...I never would have thought about electricity as a need to know item. My test is at 1:00 pm. I'm from Virginia Beach, VA. Does the test take the whole 2.5 hours or is there some information given out?

Well after a long long wait (applied for the fall 09 semester this past spring) I received my admittance package today for March!!! Yay!!!! For those still waiting and still curious about tuition forgiveness, it remained the same as the fall. You will have to come up with 10K over 6 payment periods. It did not increase to 15K as some feared. Anyhow . YAY waiting is over, I can stop looking at jobs in the paper and wondering if I am passing up other potential careers :P for something I really really want to do. Sooooooo...... Anyone else starting in March .. drop me a line and a friend request ... Can't wait to see you all.

PS. Oh yea .. for those who just took the test . I was on a waiting list from the fall.... so admision letters for those just testing may not be sent out until acceptance letters are returned by the deadline to the school and they have actual numbers for empty seats for those that tested this last round. (This of course is just a theory.. do not take it as fact ..)

Oh my gosh you make me nervous now that there won't be any room left for spring. If you don't mind me asking what were your test scores? I'm nervous that my scores might not be good enough (I just posted them above).

Oh and for those of you still working on the application and for you Raven on the recommendation forms did you check the I give up my right to read this or did you check I do not give up my right? I'm really confused on which to put. I could really care less because since she said to just mail them all ourselves I will see them anyways. I don't want it to affect my application if I were to check the wrong one. Help!!

Hi KBM318

unfortunetly looking aorund briefly I seem to have misplaced my paperwork from before.... I am sure I will find it tomorrow. My total average was 97 for the four sections. My science was my lowest with a 94 if I recall correctly.
I followed the submision process to the letter having my references send in the letters themselves. However I provided each with addressed stamped priority envolopes. Later, nervous myself that they would not arrive on time, I talked to Natalie. (I tested and applied the last week possible). Natalie told me the same as you, that I could send the letters in myself, or even drop them off. However, to answer your question I checked the "I give up my right". If your confident in your references providing a positative review of yourself, then you have no worries either way.
Purely hypothetically speaking, if you check "I do not give up my right", one may surmise that you feel one or more of your references may provide less than favorable reviews. Doing so could show some doubt in yourself and how your viewed by your peers. I don't think there is a "right or wrong" answer for the question, but the human psyce responds to such thing in many different ways. Its all individualized and often subjective to the individual reviewing your references, and thier own personal experiences.

Anyhow .. good luck. Feel free to IM me if you want to talk specifics more.

Good luck

Side note: I believe also I gave out four reference letters to ensure that at least three made it in time.

I all ready asked work for the Nov 18th session off.

As for lost mail .... EEK!.... Concerned myself but no horror stories ... I was still going to mail it, but am going to send it certified with delivery receipt. That way I know whether it got there Monday or not and can act accordingly.

I have read and reread that draft promissory note and admittedly it makes e nervous as hell. But I guess everyone signs it and goes that route.

Anyhow .... Gratz to you both ... Look forward to seeing you in March.

Congrats everyone on being accepted! You all make me sad and confused, when I talked to them they said there were still slots open that we can still apply for spring. But now I'm wondering if I even should. I guess I will then maybe I can get wait listed or something for fall, but I'm not going to get my hopes up for Spring since they are already sending the letters out. But good luck to all of you! If I don't get accepted for spring you will have to give updates on how its going, so everyone who didn't get in for Spring will know what to expect.

Don't give up yet, I was a procrastinator and sent my aplication in at last posible moment after taking test on last possible test date last spring, I really didn't understand how things worked. Don't lose hope, if you dont get into the spring class take some college classes that will lighten load when u do start. Things will work out the way they are suppose too.
