Hey there- I was accepted into the FACT program today too! Very exciting indeed- especially since I won't hear from the other programs I applied to for a while. Now i can calm down...a bit

I am in your same position. I won't be hearing back from the other schools I applied to until December. Where else did you apply?

UCSF, UPenn, Columbia and Johns Hopkins. I won't know until February/March-ish.

I've applied to two of those schools: UCSF and Columbia. We will hear in December about whether we get an interview for UCSF. This wait won't be as bad anymore though because we now know we got accepted somewhere

oh yeah, i meant I won't know about admissions decisions until feb/march. its true! the initial "i might not get in anywhere" fear is over.

I missed the first deadline (one of my reference letters didn't arrive on time) so I am hoping and waiting to hear if I get an interview! When were you guys contacted about interviews? Shortly after the deadline?

I am so anxious!

The first deadline was Sept. 15 and I didn't hear about my Interview until October 21. I had my Interview on October 29. I heard about my acceptance Nov. 2. So It does take some time. There is only one person looking at all the materials. So It's a tough task. I can say is be patient...it a bowl full of nerves.

i missed the first deadline too due to one of my schools losing my transcript request (!!!) im feeling very discouraged though--it seems like the program will be filled by the 1st wave of applicants. i wish they would automatically consider applicants for their 2 year program if FACT is already filled....because that deadline has already passed as well!! uggghhh headache
