I'm taking Amtrak and my interview is tomorrow! It's going to be an early day...I also found out today that I have been accepted into Drexel's ACE program already.

congrats!! by any chance do you mind me asking when you got your letter saying that they had all of your materials? i am wondering how long it will take until i hear because i applied there as well. also good luck with your interview! : )

Hmmm...Drexel I know they were making decisions in late October, early November. Did you get that email that shows you the status of your application? They posted my acceptance on there before I even got the snail mail letter. The snail mail letter came today. As for the materials, I think they said they received all my materials in late September. I know I turned in FACT before I turned in ACE.

Drexel doesn't even look at any applications until AFTER October 16th. They've only just started sending out acceptances I think.

hmm so they do it all by e-mail? the only thing i got was an actual letter in the mail saying my application was complete and it gave me an id number. is there a way to check the status or anything? thanks!

Do you mind me asking what your gpa was for undergrad? I applied for Drexel Ace and will apply for FACT 2011 and am wondering if my GPA is going to be competitive enough.

My Undergrad GPA was 3.86.

As for Drexel, you should have gotten an email that has what your application ID was and you can constantly check the status on the drexel website. It's a link in the email. But not to worry they also send a letter via snail mail.

For the FACT program, they are not just looking at your undergrad GPA. They will be looking at everything you have accomplished to determine whether or not you are a strong applicant (i.e. GPA in nursing pre-reqs, extracurricular activities, volunteer experience, GRE scores, evidence of strong writing ability, etc). I think the most important thing is to make sure you have a strong understanding of the nursing career and some idea as to what role you will play in nursing.

To answer an earlier question, you are not told whether you are in or out directly after the interview (at least this was my experience).

Definitely. You must keep in mind that Jefferson looks at many things, your essay, your recommendations, your interview as well as your GPA and your pre-req. grades.

Either on this forum or on a different thread, someone said they had a 3.4 and they were accepted.

Found out today that I have been ACCEPTED!! I'm very excited! Who else has heard back? Good luck to you all
