Frankford Hospital or Aria Health School of Nursing

Hi I just took the TEAS for Frankford Hospital School of Nursing today and got an 81. I would've gotten around a 90 except I got a 50 on the science section. Is that really important? I'm appling for January 2010. I hear on your application checklist, they let you know what tier you're in, but I can't find it on mine! Can anyone else find what tier they are in? Also, has anyone gotten accepted yet? What is your GPA like or other credentials? I really want to know where I stand! I'm going insane waiting to hear back!!

From what I understand they don't make decisions until September.
I think where it says in process on your app is where the tier will be.

I applied for the January 2010 start date as well. From what I understand they will mail letters by late September, but she said you will have an idea from what Tier the place you into when they start the selection process. Generally she says they take all the 1's and then as many as the 2's or 3's as they can based on room in the classes. I have a 3.3 GPA, i have taken all the courses except math, management, pharmacology, and the clinicals. My Teas score was an 87 and I did well in the science sections except for physics....I hope I am sitting pretty for admittance but I am still nervous, I mean this is my life and my dream I am sure you feel the same way!!! Good Luck lets keep our fingers crossed, what was you GPA and what classes did you already take?

Well with over a 3.0 gpa and such a good score on the TEAS, I don't think you'll have a problem getting in. I'm in a bad situation! I kind of didn't take college seriously up until last semester because I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life. My GPA for my 1st three semsters was around a 2.5. Last semester I got a 3.5 and with those averaged together, it doesn't make much of a difference. Its so hard to bring your GPA up!! I've taken just about every course required for the program: all the psychs, sociology, english, math, etc. I told AImee most of this and I let her know how hard-working I've always been. I have two jobs, one at a health club in the daycare center, and I just recently got a full time nannying job.

To those former graduates: What was all of your application materials like? Is this a really hard school to get into? And does anyone know how many students they accept for each class?

I just checked the application checklist and still no TEAS posted or tier placement. I'm going insane!! I can't take it.

my teas score is posted on the application checklist but no tier. If you have trouble getting in what you have to do to fix your GPA, is retake courses that you did not do so well in say you got a C in a class if you re-take it and get a better grade, then the 2.0 form the C comes out and the 3.0-B or 4.0-A go in. the C still shows on your record and the new grade is there as a second attempt, however the weighted average will only include the better score, You have to retake the course at the same college that you took it at in order to clear up the issue. Hopefully you will not have to go this route but in case this is an option. I am not sure how many are accepted into the program. Good Luck if you have anymore questions just ask if I can help I will. And I know what you mean about going insane I check for a tier everyday.

I took my test on the 8/21 and they were posted that day at 1:00 on the Teas website and then they were added to my application checklist on frankfords site on 8/28. Everything for me was posted on 8/28....both my reference letters, my high school and college transcripts, my essay, my application fee. THe only thing missing is a tier.
