Any mature students out there?


Hello everyone! I have gone and gotten accepted into Drexel's ACE program for the fall of 2009. I am a much more mature student...over 50! This is obviously a second (3rd or 4th) career for me and I was just curious if there is anyone else out there who is also a more mature student beginning again.

I started nursing school in 2004 at the tender age of 44 after early retirement from my previous career. The oldest in my class was 56.

You are not alone! I'm am also going to be in the Fall Drexel ACE program. I retired from my 30+ year career in business to start over in nursing - hope to eventually teach nursing! Am over 50 - will be 51 in June. Currently taking final prerequisites at Villanova. Am looking forward to the ACE program - it will be nice to be taking classes with some other 'mature' students. Right now I am usually the only one to get pre-1970 cultural references by the professors!
