Hi everyone, I received my letter on Friday the 20th. I too am on the waiting list. I called the school today to get some clarification on "the waiting list" I was told that the waiting list doesn't mean you are rejected. It simply means wait it stated. If for any reason the persons accepted don't pay their acceptance fees, or decide to go then the individuals on the waiting list will be selected. If you are not selected this year, you are in next year. To all those who received a waiting list letter don't be upset everything happens for a reason. Look at the situation like this atleast you will be in next year.

Loveland, and everyone else who is on the waiting list, hang in there. I've seen a number of posts by people who were accepted to Abington and a few other schools and are trying to decide where to go. At the very worst, you now know about 3 or 4 people who could pass along info on the program before you get there. I know this isn't the same as being there yourself, but it's sure something I wish I had now. Good luck to all of you.

To loveland I am too on the waiting list and after I read your post I was wondering who you spoke to at the school because I know someone that was put on a wait list year after year. Finally accepted after the third time because once the wait list is dissolved she had to roll her application over for the following year. I am just wondering if what your saying is new news because she is currently in the program right now. Maybe they changed the regulations? I am hopeful however just hate waiting. Thanks

Does anyone know what "scheduled weekends" mean - is that every weekend, every other?

I was told at the interview that clinical would be every weekend...the scheduled part probably has something to do with different classes require a different number of clinical hours, we might have to work various shifts, etc. From what I understand we also have to do a clinical lookup the day before (friday)...does anyone else have any other info?

Jill0107 I spoke with the director. I was told that if all of your classes were completed, and your Teas testing score met the requirments, then yes if still interested you will be rolled over for next year and guranteed a spot. All of your classed have to be completed and your GPA has to be good.

OneDayAttaTime, just spoke to Abington...it is every other weekend!
