Here I come Ortho!


Just graduated from Nursing School and I will be starting my job July 1 on the orthopedics floor! I'm so excited! Anybody got any good tips for me? I know, save my back! I've been hearing that one alot! Thanks for any input!

Save your back.... Do not try to lift or move people by yourself.. No matter how small they appear....

Asses Asses and Asses again! Eyes open, fat emboli-signs, compression syndrome, position keep it, other conditions mixed, asses, asses and assess again!
Good luck…you will like it! Trauma–Ortho was my love!
