Are there any ortho NPs out there who can tell me what their typical day is like, patient workload, pay, and if they enjoy it or not? Do you feel limited working in such a specific practice? Have you gone on to do other non-ortho employment?
I'm an adult & geriatric NP currently working with geriatrics doing house calls. Previously I was an RN in Orthopedics.
There's a position as an NP for an Ortho surgeon (shoulder). It seems like a huge swing in the opposite direction from what I've been doing, but I do enjoy orthopedics. Would love to have some help understanding more about the job.
Thanks so much!!
