OHSU ABSN 2013 Applicants

I didn't see a thread.....although it is quite early yet for some to be thinking about the upcoming application session. I am a senior at Marylhurst/PCC, will be graduating Spring 2013 and applying to OHSU, Duke, and John Hopkins this Fall.

Anyone current students that have advice? Anyone who just applied have any tips for the application? Anyone else applying?

Thank you!! I got a letter in the mail. I got it last Monday but it could have come earlier than that because I was out of town.

I applied to the ABSN program and I haven't heard anything either. I check the mail like ten times a day, all of the programs I applied to seem to be taking forever to get back to us...so nerve-racking

A friend of mine applied for the ABSN program along with me. He received an email today saying he "had not made it through this round of selection." I didn't get that email, so I think that's a good sign for me.

i also received the same email regarding not making it through to the next round. coincidentally, i accepted a spot within a different program tonight, so it worked out for me! good luck to the rest of you!

I too applied to the ABSN program and am so looking forward to hearing the decisions! Have others received emails at all from OHSU. I see that some received emails saying they didn't make it to the next round. I haven't got one email from them through this process and wanted to make sure that was normal..

I got that e-mail, too. I am wondering what my application was lacking that they are looking for...do all of you have healthcare experience? Am I the only one that does not? I am considering becoming a CNA just to get experience.
