job market for new grads in eugene

Hey!
I'll be graduating in December in the Portland area. My husband is in law school and applying for transfer to UofO as I'm under the impression that the job market is less saturated in the Eugene area. The quicker i get a job the quicker my husband can quit his and attend school full time...like I have been able to do. Anybody know if this is true? Is it as bad as Portland is?
