Thinking of moving to Oregon

I'm not sure you'll get as many answers here as you might from your post in the Oregon forum, but depending on where you want to move, you could try plugging a few zip codes in at salary.com and see what the average pay is.

My husband and I will probably move to Oregon in the next year or two -- I'm from there, originally (family is all from the Portland area).

hello supergirl, we have been looking at going to oregon as soon as im done (god-willing), i test 5weeks and a day compared to where i come from, Phoenix, their pay is a smidge less for lpn there and about the same for rn, but it is a whole lot cheaper and cleaner there. Here in phoenix lpn get 17-26$ hr and rn can start anywhere from 25-35$hr. but it cost to live here, do you have any idea how much a summer month of air conditioning cost- as much as 450$/month, that's alot of overtime

LPN pay is pretty good here, but do not expect to work in the hospitals. I'm a 3-year LPN working agency and I get $26. Some agencies pay up to $30, I think. I believe Most NH's pay around $20-22 to start. There is plenty of work.
