Portland Oregon LPNS

It appears in my job search that no hospitals in the area hire LPN's to do floor nursing, including Southwest Washington Medical Center. Yet they are going to open 2 More LPN schools in this area. Does this make sense ? The market is going to be flooded with LPNs looking for work? I am not interested in working in a nursing home. Has anyone found the same trend with with hospitals in this area? Thank you.
