Perioperative Training Program for New Grad

Hello,

I am getting my BSN in Nursing. I am interested in getting an Operating Room position and am wondering if there are any perioperative training programs for new grads in Oregon? Or how does one find out about them?

Thank you.

Hello Sara,

The only perioperative program that I am aware of in the Portland area is at Mt. Hood Community College. I don't know anything about the program. I've just heard it exists. I tried to find it on line but was unsuccessful. It may be best to call the college and inquire directly.

If you find anything else maybe you could post the info.

Good luck!
