New Grad jobs in Oregon? Help! Please!

Hi Oregon Nurses-

I am a new grad RN with a California License who is looking to relocate to Oregon, anywhere in the state. Are they in need of new grads anywhere in the state? I have my ACLS, BLS and I graduated Magna Cum Laude from my BSN program. Any information would be appreciated.

Hi
I'm a new grad since Dec. still looking for a job. I have also been looking in Washington I now have my license in both state I also ACLS & BLS cert I graduated with BSN from Gonzaga. I did my capstone in ICU with 3 extra shift with the Rapid response team. My parents work at a main hospital in Portland and can't get me an interview and they both have worked there for over 25 years. All of Portland is not running any new grad program.
It is frustrating to work so hard to get in to a nursing program and then get done and no jobs to be had. Wish you luck finding a job here most hospital are cutting peoples hours that have jobs.

Look into Salem Hospital. This spring they had 40 new graduate positions open - not sure if they are all filled yet. They are only open to BSN graduates.

Stay in California, get some experience down there then try applying to a rural town.

Wow, I didn't realize that it was so bad everywhere. I know that OR is considered to be an excellent place to practice nursing because of the wide scope of practice, compensation and low cost of living. Should I just be grateful that as a new nurse that I have a couple of jobs lined up, even if they are in Chicago?
