May I come to work with you?

Hi everyone--

I am really interested in changing careers by applying to an direct entry masters' program or BSN program. However, I am one of those people who only knows what they think about something by being there.......so, would anyone be able to allow me to shadow them for a few hours or, maybe even a day? I don't want to commit to the pre-reqs etc. without getting a close-up view of a day or two. I have contacted the HR depts of most of the major hospitals--but no one has replied to my requests.....I will probably try to volunteer somewhere but would still really like to shadow a "real nurse" )
I'm most interested in oncology, peds and L&D.

Thanks so much!

Deborah
