Insurance Question...

by Lynn07

I'm a new grad that just passed the NCLEX and is looking for a job. I'm trying to recall from college if as nurses we have to provide our own insurance, such as malpractice insurance? I'm planning on applying either in a hospital or community health clinic. Do I need further coverage? Any advice is appreciated!

Your employer should provide insurance for you. Some nurses do get additional malpractice insurance, but it is not required.
