Cukegb- I am African American also and I have never encountered anyone racist when I have been in Longview. I have been inside some of the schools, and know people from the town, and never has there been any racist encounters with them. I think any racism is due to racist groups coming into small towns (throughout the NW) and trying to convert people over to their groups. For the most part its a pretty cool town. Also, to another post, Walla Walla University at the Portland Campus has a LPN to RN bridge program.
