commute from Corvallis to Eugene

Hi, I am moving to Oregon in June and hope to be working at Sacred Heart Medical Center, but will most likely be living in Corvallis as that is where my fiance will be in school. is it a really awful commute? looks like about an hour on googlemaps. Thanks!
