ADN or BSN in Eugene?

I'm a PCT (CNA) in Illinois, and have 2 semesters left before I graduate nursing school with my ADN. My husband is born and raised in Eugene and he HATES Illinois. He wants to move back to Eugene. We lived out there a few years and I liked it (minus the rain) so I have been looking at the websites for Sacred Heart and McKenzie Willamette. Every Sacred Heart posting has BSN preferred under qualifications. The McKenzie Willamette website only had a couple nursing positions open but the site wouldn't cooperate with me and let me click on any jobs for more info. Is it going to be feasible for me to get a job with an ADN in Eugene after I pass NCLEX and if I get an Oregon RN license?

Thanks for any and all info!

Kelly C.

Default Re: ADN or BSN in Eugene?
The nursing school in Eugene is OCNE, so you are actually able to get your BSN there if you are interested. You can graduate with your ADN from Lane Community College, or for 1 extra year, OHSU will come there (to Eugene) and you would graduate with a BSN from OHSU. Sorry I don't have an answer to your question, just thought I would throw this info. your way. Good luck!
