- Dec 22, '12 by brownbookI'm ONLY a pre-op, post-op nurse. But from around 2001 to 2003 (at my former job) our cystoscopy patients were done with just the MD and a tech in the OR.
Then of course laws, protocols, policy and procedures, standards of care, etc., were discussed and a circulating RN assisted.
I understand your question (I think).....I'm sure there are many good reasons to have a circulating RN but I feel safe saying they can be done safely and less expensively with just the MD and a tech? - Dec 22, '12 by RNOTODAYchange fluids, set up the table if you dont have a tech assigned, get stents/ guidewires as necessary
