Wanting to work in the OR

i work as OR nurse about 11 months, way back 2007-2008, and just took exam,i want to work as oR nurse but i dont know where can i find a job since im considered new grad , i just came here in CA last march, do you think what should i do? do i need too work as volunteer first?

Dear Prospective OR Nurse,
First, congrats and welcome to a most rewarding and demanding career.
I believe, due to the shortage and age of OR nurses these days, most hospitals have an OR internship. I would suggest you apply to the places you desire to work.
