Lean Team

Has anyone out there heard of the Lean Team? This company came in to our hospital and is reviewing each department to see if we can do OR cases, supplies, and hours better...they are having us write standard process flow chart for each procedure, so if we have to have extra help they can pull anyone in to assist us. That is just the beginning of this teams work....believe me. We were told by our nursing director that we we didn't like the way things were and we didn't want to go along with this,we could resign effective immediately..of course it is a Corporation that owns this hospital. Are other hospitals doing the same thing???
