This seems like its discriminating. Ive been a surgical tech for 11 years, and have never heard of a person not being tall enough. Im 5ft 1 in. My nurse who I work with almost everyday is less than 5 ft. I would ask to see the policy. With that being said, you wouldnt want to work for a place that doesnt go with the norm on HR policies.
