Autoclave steam integrator comparison?

We are using two types in our house. One is by Thermalog, which has a small of amount of chemical that will not spread unless met with the parameters for sterilization; the other is a flash indicator made by Propper. This has two readings : one 3 minute indicator and a 10 minute indicator. The 10 minute will not change unless exposed for that length of time. I do not know about autoclaves that have internal jacket pressures...which by your explanation it seems yours does. Does your temp of the autoclave get cooler than 200 degrees? When you put the trays in are the 'clave doors open or shut? If they are shut, that could cause the indicator to change. In order to reduce the chance of accidentally using unsterile instruments we would like to find a better alternative.
