What was your GPA and HESI score when you were accepted to Chamberlain Sacramento?

Hey everyone

I'm curious as to what your guys' GPA and HESI scores were when you were accepted to the Sacramento Campus for Chamberlain. I've been stressing out that I will not be accepted (I have a 3.53 GPA and have not taken the HESI yet but am hoping to score between a 92-96%) due to my slightly less than competitive GPA. Thanks for your input!

Also how did you study for the HESI anatomy and physiology? I haven't taken either class so have been watching crash course videos; will that suffice?

Also what kind of math did you have on the HESI? Fractions/ratios/proportions or conversions as well?

Hi, I got accepted into the Sac campus for the April 2018 start date. I had a 3.1 GPA and scored a 92% on my HESI. I had already taken anatomy and physiology, but it had been some time so I studied by taking practice tests and watching Youtube videos with exams and answers. The math on the HESI is basic with things like fractions, ratios, units of measurements, etc. If you're confident in math and English, I would spend all my time studying the different sciences. Hope this information helps. Best of luck!

Thanks!!! I applied for the Fall 2018 and scored a 92.5% on the HESI but will be receiving my cumulative score tomorrow; is it just me or does it seem like they accept people more based on their HESI score rather than GPA? Just from my hours of patrolling these forums it seems like it!!!! How long did it take for you to know when you were accepted?

That's awesome! Great job. I think it really depends on the applicant pool and how everyone's HESI scores and GPA compare to one another. The admissions committee met on a Tuesday last month, and I got a call the very next morning from my advisor telling me that I had been accepted for next months start date. Best of luck in getting admitted for the fall 2018 start date.

Did you take the hesi last month?

Yeah I took the Hesi at the beginning of last month.
