Is West Coast University a good school?

  1. 0
So I was wondering is WCU a good school? I'm really interested in becoming a registered nurse. I have many friends who are struggling to get into a nursing program and I don't want to have to go through that. I know the school is extremely pricey but the fact that I don't have to struggle to get classes or into the program is nice. Can anyone give me any insight on this?

ridiculous us to pay that amount for that school. They are preying on people having to wait to get into other programs, which is sickening. You will never make that investment back.

This. 126,000+ for a BSN is INSANE!

I don't know anything about the school except for the price tag.
Mm the competition isn't steep because very few people would pay that about of money...
Also not everyone who starts nursing school will graduate, say you fail out, 3rd year... 100k in debt nothing to show for it. How will you survive? Hopefully you have a trust fund.

I have heard great things about the school don't let the negative comments get you down. It's 126,000 if you have absolutely no college schooling at all... So if you have general education to transfer if will cut your time down and also the price tag. Keep searching for other threads about the school. I have spoken to people who have graduated from there and also who are there now. I haw not heard one bad thing. Yes the price tag is more than the usual but you can also apply for grants and scholarships.

Are you kidding me? It's a for profit school! those degree mills are bad enough when they're affordable but paying Harvard prices for a nursing degree from a Phoenix-type school??? Omg RIDICULOUS.

There's a whole other thread of people who are currently attending and they give their actual input and honesty I would jump to that one to hear a more positive side of it.

While you may avoid the 'struggle to get in' NOW - you will definitely struggle for years and years and years down the road trying to pay back the crushing debt.

Do yourself a favor- find out what the student loan payments for that program would be every month, and compare it to the salary for a newly-graduated RN in an oversaturated market (IF you are able to find a job!)

    Then report back.
