Anyone looking to start this program June 25? Looking to find others, maybe form an online study/support group.

Walden has rolling admissions so there may not be that many people waiting to start so far in the future. I finish my third class with Walden this week and I'm loving it. Okay, so loving it is a stretch, but at least I'm tolerating it well. :) Good luck in your classes.

Am enrolled for a Master's in Health Informatics. Online with many resources. I think you'll like it. Good Luck

Specializes in Critical Care, ER, Post-Op Surgery.

I am thinking about starting Walden in the fall of 2012. Although I cannot decide between the Master's in Nursing Informatics or the Master's in Health Informatics. What made you decide to enroll in the Health Informatics program? Thanks and good luck!

I am thinking about starting a Master's program with Walden University in the fall of 2012. However I can't decide between the Master's in Nursing Informatics or the Master's in Health Informatics. What made you choose the Health Informatics Program. Thanks and good luck!

I enrolled in Walden's MSN Education Program. I started my first 2 classes back in January and I love it. The instructors are very supportive. I am so excited and I can't wait to start my next class in a few weeks.

What is the cost per semester for Walden's Nurse Educator program? I'm thinking of applying for the fall 2012

$535/credit, first semester is 4 credits. Also technology fee of $130. Tuition, according to my enrollment advisor, goes up each fall. Books are included. However, there are tuition reduction options, such as partnerships. Because they have a partnership with my workplace, I get 10% off tuition.

Thanks for your reply. I will have to check my job for partnership info

I am starting at the end of June too! For MSN education... I am starting the 1 credit orientation course at the end of this week, because I didn't want to take it with the first real 3 credit course in June. I just finished the 0 credit orientation to the website class too

Which one has more scope? Education or Informatics? I am already started doing Education. Wondering if I should switch to Informatics.

If you mean scope of practice, they're the same. Still an RN license but not advance practice. It's just a different specialization, kind of like L&D and ICU are both nursing but different specialization. One for education, and one for ::shiver:: computers.
