...however, accreditation is everything in education. And it's got to be the RIGHT accreditation. I haven't seen what he's up to lately, but one of the "guru"s of distance education is a guy named Dr. Jon Baer ... you might try looking him up on the 'net. For that matter, have you tried googling "Walden" ?
