UCF/Valencia dual enrollment concurrent ASN/BSN FALL 2016

Students School Programs

Published

Hello, I started this new forum because I didn't see any for the fall of 2016. I applied to the UCF/Valencia concurrent program. If anyone wants to share their stats or let us know when you do get accepted. Idk this is new to me lol. I can't remember my stats at moment but my TEAS overall was 82.7 I believe and my science was 85.7 or 87.5.

My GPA is 3.3 (I know pretty low, I wasn't focused at the beginning of college -.-) I graduated with my A.A from Miami Dade College. And that's pretty much all my info sort of :)

Hi! I applied and I am waiting to hear back too! I have a 85.3 on TEAS, 3.6 overall GPA but a 3.01 science pre-req which I am worried about. They don't allow retakes on classes so if i don't get in i don't know what i will do! I am so nervous! I also applied to SSC/UCF concurrent and I am on my 6th week of not hearing back!

Hi!! Finally someone wrote back to my forum lol and yeah I think we will start to hear back at the beginning of June. It is stressful waiting ! Lol but I only applied to FIU and UCF/Valencia programs. So hopefully I get into atleast one! Hbu? Only the concurrent programs you applied for or ?

I applied to the UCF main program (got denied of course they only accept like 4.0 science pre-req GPAs), I also applied to UCF/Seminole State concurrent for summer 16 but got denied because I was in the process of still taking my last pre-req (microbio) even though the ucf advisors said I could still apply and thought I would get in, (but I'm learning they are wrong about a lot of things), so then I applied to Seminole state concurrent for fall 16 but i still didnt have all grades in by the application deadline april 8 so i have a feeling i will get denied again even though the ucf advisors told me i had a better chance then before (i don't believe it haha), and the last one i applied to was Valencia concurrent since the application deadline was right after grades came out so I'm really hoping valencia will work for me!! But I've also heard that valencia concurrent is harder to get into then seminole state concurrent so I'm really worried!!!

Yeah FIU mostly accepted 3.7 and higher GPAs and that's my weak spot right now bc I have like a 3.25 which really sucks! But my science GPA is high and my teas so hopefully idk I have some type of hope lol and UCF/Valencia I feel I have a better chance getting into than FIU. Goodluck! Hope we both get into a program! That's really all that matters to me

If you have a high science pre req then I think you have a really good chance for Valencia! I have heard that they look at science pre req and teas the most! Good luck to you too! :)
