Texas Tech NP 2016

Nursing Students School Programs

Hey all!

I wanted to start a forum for TTU applicants for ANY NP program for the 2016 year. Anybody out there?

I applied for AGACNP. I noticed they pushed the due date back to 10/1/2015 (was 9/1/2015). I wonder if they didn't have many applicants (at least for ACNP)? Have heard Spring is easier to get into than fall. Anybody have any info?

I also noticed the deadline push back; however, I recieved an email from Georgina Barrera reminding all NP applicants that the application closes tonight (8-1-15), but she was allowing the registrar's office more time to recieve outside documents. Maybe the delay on the website that we see is this extra time that the registrar's office was given? Who knows! I'm anxiously awaiting to hear back about the FNP program. Any info is much appreciated! Good luck!

Just double checked the site and saw that the deadline was changed BACK to August 1st.

I talked to GB and was told we would know about 6 weeks after the application closes so that is around mid September but from what I have read it will be a little later maybe around first of October. I was told that it is easier to get into the programs for the Spring start date due to fewer applicants so I'm really hoping I get into the AGACNP program.

I just got my acceptance email into the AGACNP program last week for Spring '16. Anyone else here get accepted? I'm anxious and excited!!

Me too!!! I had emailed GB and asked when and she said two weeks from now and then bam I get an email with my acceptance! Already paid my $100 to hold my spot! So happy! I'm transferring from an FNP program so I'm curious to how this will work!

I already paid mine too!!:)

I'll be starting in January, too, in their Nurse-Midwifery Program! Congrats on getting in! :)

Hello, I start this fall for the Tx Tech Onlline FNP. Just wondering if anybody else has started and maybe they have some tips to share. Thanks in advance.

I am applying to the AGACNP masters program. The 3 Ps are included in my program track so I don't have any advice, unfortunately. The application process has been frustrating for me as I feel no one responds to my questions/emails in a timely manner. Almost all my emails have had to be sent twice. Ugh...Deadline is coming up on Monday so I am eager to find out over the next couple months!
