Sacramento State (CSUS) Fall 2014 Applicants

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi All!

I'm currently applying for Sac state nursing fall 2014 as a transfer student. I'll have approximately 72 pts by the time of application. I cant wait for april/may to hear the results!

Interested in hearing about your experiences!

Hey guys, I saw no one had started an FB group yet so I went ahead and made one. Here's the link:

Hope that works!

I named the group Sac State BSN Fall 2014, but I think I'm going to change it to our graduating year, Spring 2016.

To those of you that decided to attend Sac State…what are your plans for housing? I am looking into apartments and would prefer to live with other nursing students. Please message me if interested! I know it's early but I don't know how easy it is to find housing in the area near campus!! I'm also going to post something on the Facebook page! :)

Hey everyone, congrats to those who got in. I have been following the forum, but since I was pretty sure I wouldn't get in I didn't chime in. I didn't get in, but I wanted to congratulate all of those who did. I am officially in one program and wait listed for 2 others. I am really leaning towards the ones I am wait listed at as they are CSU's and my end goal is to get my BSN. I wish you all luck in what the future beholds. Hopefully for me people will let their other schools know ASAP if they don't want to go there. Life of the wait listed is exceptionally hard not knowing where I will be living in the fall or at this point where I will be going. Each day only gets closer to when I will have to move. Again, congrats to all those who got in or got in elsewhere.

hey everyone! you might wanna change the name of your facebook group into something that is not related to the school. they're not big fans of that. just take out the sac state thing. just a heads up.

Oh, ok thanks for letting us know!

I was accepted too! Definitely joining the Facebook group!

Congrats to you all... :cheeky:

I graduated from SacState in the spring of 2013. I worked with professors on pre-nursing advising and I mentored many students from other semesters. I was also on the CNSA board and attended conferences. If any of you have questions, let me know and I can try to help you out. Good luck to you all.

Specializes in School Nurse.

Hey everyone! I'm applying to sac state for this coming spring and I've been stalking the applicant pool statistics, and I noticed that someone who applied for the fall got 100% on the TEAS! "Average TEAS test score – 89.3% (range 82.0% – 100%)"

My goal is to get as close to 100% as possible, and it kind of makes me feel better that someone else out there has gotten 100%. My GPA isn't the best (for Sac State standards), and I'm a pretty good test taker so I'm really hoping my score will help me out (taking it in a couple weeks). Congrats to those who are in the program now, I'm sure you're all busy with beginning of semester stuff. If the person who got that amazing score happens to see this and wants to share any tips/advice, I'd really appreciate it :)
