Sacramento State (CSUS) Fall 2014 Applicants

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi All!

I'm currently applying for Sac state nursing fall 2014 as a transfer student. I'll have approximately 72 pts by the time of application. I cant wait for april/may to hear the results!

Interested in hearing about your experiences!

It's so close I can almost taste it!!!!!

@Navim04 Congratulations!!!

@mmm_madeline with your points, you are already in:) might as well congratulate you:)

1 more day!!! This is about to happen everyone???

Does anybody know around what time we are supposed to get the email tomorrow? Because I don't want to be checking my email every 2 min

I don't think there is any way of knowing what time they will send it out. I've gotten decisions from other nursing schools at various times of the day. Sac is my first choice, so of course it's the last one I hear from! I've resigned myself to checking my email every 5 minutes. It will be hard to resist checking during my organic chemistry lecture tomorrow!

I got my acceptance email on April 30, 2012 at exactly 5pm. It should be around that time.

@xaireel how many points did you have if you don't mind me asking?

i had 83 points.

Wow, thanks for digging up that email for us! Now, will it stop me from obsessively checking all day? Probably not...

yeah... probably not. LOL! at least now you have a guideline n when the email will come. for most of the people in my class, we got the email around that time. just minutes apart.

I would say, if you have a 74, you should be in a good spot, since last semester the cut off was 69. Historical trends show that for each cohort, the cut off goes up by 2 points.

So I guess we're not going to hear until tomorrow; that's so frustrating. I was admitted to CSU Stanislaus' nursing program, so I guess I will have to submit my intent to enroll there along with $200 so I have a back up. I was selected as alternate 46 for CSU Chico's program, and they only have 40 slots per semester, so I feel like it's not worth it to submit an intent to enroll there right? I don't want to end up forfeiting $400 if I get into sac.

Another day! :(

Oh man this is so so frustrating because I got into Chico and San Diego as well. Chico has a $200 deposit and San Diego says I have to accept admission to the nursing program no later than today. I wonder if I can send an email to San Diego saying I accept but then change my mind? I have no idea what to do.... ahhhhhh
