Students School Programs

Published

Hi everyone!

So I am currently a nursing student at Montgomery community college. I'm still stuck on the wait list for clinicals. And I'm only going I graduate with an associates in nursing.

I was looking for a quick online RN to bsn program. Has anyone here taken the one at ? Do you like it? How did it work?

Thanks!!!

I do not know about but I know at people have said that you can do it in 6 months if you study your butt off.

Irishizrn- I haven't looked in to chamberlain at all, only . How was the program? Was it pretty fast paced and not too many useless classes? How about the school it's self? I've had online classes before through a community school and sometimes they were unorganized and not thought through.

So you got your bsn from chamberlain and then went to Drexel for your msn? Is the np part of the msn or completely separate?

Thank you so much for your help!!

I really liked Chamberlain. It can be done in a year if you do 2 classes at a time. There are some crap classes but every program will have that..minimum number of credits for bs. They are very organized. Every class is set is basically the same when it comes to the discussion boards. It's nice because you get used to the flow. I loved how it was set up.

I'm now at doing my MSN/PNP...all one program. So I was able to move forward with the BSN from Chamberlain...I know some people are worried about big names. Sure...some schools that aren't "famous" you want to stay away from. Chamberlain is part of Devry. If they had the MSN I wanted...I would have gone there for my MSN.

If you consider chamberlain look into the military discount if you qualify and also there was a discount for being a member of one of the nursing organizations but I can't remember which one.
