Curious

I was wondering how many people are applying for the program more than once? Thanks

I know we still a little bit to go but do you guys know how to send in the documents about life experiences and language?

I'm going to PM you about this. I think I might now, but I don't want to put out false info!

So, I have finished micro with an A, it was definitely hard with Dr.Lisa but worth it. After calculating my points I have 72 points. Hopefully we can all post our points to see the range. Not sure what the safe cut off will be this year since it's a new system.

Congrats on the A! Are your points with the TEAS score factored in already?

Thanks! Yes, my points have my teas score calculated in.

I haven't taken my TEAS yet and am anticipating an invite to take it at RCC. I can't wait until the application period opens up already! í ½í¸Š

I know í ½í¸¬ did you take your pre-reqs at rcc?

Yes, I did.

Yay! If I am not mistaken we sat in the same row for her lecture! She is definitely tough, but I managed to get my A as well. I signed up for Professor G for 2B this fall. I can't wait to finish that class so I can apply in the Spring. I wish you the best!

The classes I needed to take at RCC with Eagle-Thompson and Cryder were full. I am having to take A&P2A and Micro at the MVC. Hopefully I can take Loomis for 2B. After this Fall semester I will only need A&P2B and can apply next Fall. I know this thread is for Spring 2018, but I need any and all advice. It does seem like the point system being used gives less points than before. I have taken the dosage calculations class for the 2 points and plan on taking MAT 12 for the 4 points. Hopefully they don't change the point system again. Have you guys started studying for the TEAS test?

MV has some awesome professors as well. I took the courses with professors you mentioned wanting to take. The Anatomy Professor C will actually most likely teach 2B in the Spring as the they tend to alternate semesters. So Professor L may actually be teaching 2A at the time.

I won't be applying myself until the Spring, but I joined hoping to get more familiar with the process myself. I believe some of the applicants have already taken the TEAS. I don't think I will actually start studying until the Spring semester. I just want to get through 2B first :/

Personally, I would take Microbiology at RCC, Dr.Lisa is great at teaching and it is possible to earn an A, she just makes you work for it as any science teacher should. For the TEAS, I recommend taking one of the practice tests if you can off of the ATI website. I used the momentrix to study for the TEAS.
