I have decided to create a new thread for the ones that are going to apply to the ASN program at Pasco-Hernando State College. Hopefully we can share information and give some emotional support to each other :)

I was reading in the previous thread about their score system that works based on TEAS score + GPA + County residency.

My Pre-req GPA is 3.7 and I am in county resident.

I haven't take my TEAS test yet, but will post the results as soon as I have it and hopefully I will have some chance!

Is there anyone in the same boat?

I have a 4.0 so far but finishing up micro. I got an 85.3 on my TEAS. I am not a resident.

How did you like the TEAS test?

I am taking mine next week and I am so nervous...

Congrats on your perfect scores!!!

Thanks! The test was not bad for me at all. However, I am a career changer and currently a teacher. A lot of the stuff that was on the test were things that I am exposed to on a daily basis. Science, however, was difficult. I know I learned all of it at some point in my life but I couldn't recall much of it.

We have 350 views but only the two of us commenting :roflmao: perhaps they are just lurking.

I hope to see more interaction here!

Thread moved for best results

I have a 3.8 pre-req gpa ( had a 4.0 until I got a B in microbiology lecture :(), teas score of 75.3% and I am a resident. I am retaking the teas one last time, hoping to get it into the 80s.

You are fine... I passed Microbiology with an A (Johns Hopkins) but managed to have a B in psychology (It was one of my first classes, 5 years ago - when I was working on my A.A):roflmao:. This is the reason my GPA is 3.7!

Well, I think we are fine.

I am retaking the TEAS test in the end of April; I ran out of time in math and got a low score...I meant, proficient but not what we would consider great.

Let's keep swimming... hopefully we'll all be on the same cohort!

If anyone happens to know what is the "cutoff" scores (from previous cohorts), please share it with us!!

I hear you...

I did worse than I could ever imagine.... LOL! "what's wrong with me???":banghead: - stress? age?

I am retaking it and hopefully I will get a higher score.

I'm new to this forum and can't figure out how to post a picture from my phone.. but if you go to phsc.edu and go to the admission requirements for generic nursing they have a chart of the average teas and gpas that were accepted for the last two semesters
