Nova Southeastern University Winter Term 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi!

I didn't see a Nova Winter 2018 thread so I decided to start one. I applied to Nova via their website on Friday (my transcripts from Miami Dade College and University of Miami is on it's way). Not sure if I have to also apply through NursingCAS but I emailed an advisor and I am awaiting her response. Anyways, thinking about ordering the Kaplan book already to start studying, Nursing School Entrance Exams (Kaplan Test Prep), is this the right one? Is anyone else using something else? Anyways hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks,

Chisel

Thank you for your constructive criticism .My name is Frannie and I am also attending Nova .I am very excited to meet you y'all.

Hi Frannie! But seriously people go on for weeks saying they never get back replies from professors and it's because of how they sent their emails. But class is only 3 days a week. Monday A & P 1-5 pm and Thursdays Physiology only and that's from 1-3. You have 2 writing classes which are super easy. Tuesday morning from 9-12 and that's it for the day and that same class Thursday 9-12.

M: 1-5

T: 9-12

Th: 9-3 lunch at 12

Thanks NSU2020

Hi,

You guys ready for Monday?

Hey Guys!

So classes start Monday and I am a little worried on what to expect the first day. Do we wear our scrubs or professional attire on the first day along with our clinical jackets? Also, are you all taking in your books on the first day?

Hey Nursingnova2020,

If you have your scrubs and jacket then wear it. If not wear professional attire and no need to bring any books.

Hey guys, Are you ready?

Hi all, my name is Nicole. I am interviewing in May for Jan 2019 spring semester. I was wondering what you guys used to study for the Kaplan entrance exam?

Hey Nicole!! If you want to email any questions feel free to reach me at [email protected]
