NCTC Spring 2018 Online LVN program

So, I had absolutely horrible timing. I had scheduled my test a week before I was getting married and leaving for my honeymoon so I did not study at all. Then, I thought I could see what the test was like and retake it prior to the deadline. That being said, I feel like I did terrible! I have not been in school since before my daughter but I have never seen a grade that low in a long time! Needless to say, I left there freaking out and feeling defeated.

The thing about it is though, I did not feel like it was that difficult. I just did not spend as much time on the test as I should of and became very anxious to get finished. I was communicating with one of the professors back and forth and she felt that I "probably" would be fine to not retake it. But, then went on to tell me that they had 80+ applicants for the online program in which only 30 are selected. That being said, I went ahead and scheduled to take the test again on August 3rd just to be sure and so that I can study as well this go around. What range was your overall score? You do not have to tell me exactly

I'm am stressing to the max!!

I made a 73.3 overall - not sure how that compares to all the others. Wont know anything until 8/15 I believe. What did you score the first time you took it?

I made 69.1% which freaked me out because I failed. But, I'm going to take it again now that I have been studying in hopes that I do better!!

I am freaking out still and hoping and praying I am accepted! Have you heard from any others about their scores or any updates on when we will find out? I am retaking the test tomorrow just in case to see how I do.

I haven't heard anything yet. I checked the website and it says that all applicants should be notified by 8/15/17. I'm sure you will do fine - let me know afterwards.

I did better but not a whole lot better but I made 72. At least it was better! Keeping my fingers crossed. I do not know how all the others did eithier.

That's great! I bet you and I will both get in!!! Dont stress about it. If you dont mind me asking, what age group are you in? I'm not the typical student, I just turned 52. This is Chapter 2 of my life :) Kids are out of the house, time for my dream!

I really hope so. I'm trying not to stress but it's so hard! That's great that you get to go for your dreams now. I'm 25. :)

Hi Tperkins, I am 47 and applied and took the test on August 3rd but i did really bad on science. I only made 69.4 % so i guess i won't be accepted. Too bad we could be in the same group age :-)

I would not get discouraged! The first time I took it I made a 69.1 and was emailing the professor back and forth and she said I would "probably" be fine. I just retook it because it made me feel better and ended up improving my score. So there is always a chance! My lowest score was on the science too. We should find out by email tomorrow right? Or soon at least.
