LPN to RN programs

  1. U have heard a little about these programs and was wondering if they could be completed online or do they have to be in person. Frankly I don't see how it would work online unless it was strictly course work and no clinicals. Also how long do they take to complete. Please and thank you for the help.

The LPN-RN program I'm looking at will take about 2 years. The program is pretty much everything in the RN program without fundamentals. Instead, they take a class called LPN-RN Transition. I'm guessing other programs take about two years because that is for an associate's. If you go for your BSN that would be another two years giving you a bachelors. But it could take less if you've taken classes that can transfer.

Thank you for your answer. Are any of the online bridge programs legit? I haven't been able to contact any to see if they are accredited yet but I'm skeptical because I'm pretty sure there will be clinical involvement and I don't see how they can do that through a computer screen.
