Im so nervous. Do they look at the grades more than the teas score ? I've heard that in the pass they used to do that

I don't know if this is wrong, but I think I heard somewhere that Pierce's acceptance is heavily based on a lottery. I don't think the selection process is all lottery, but if you have a low teas score/gpa, you have a higher chance getting into Pierce.

No I'm pretty sure this is way wrong. My bf is at the Pierce Nursing programs and they told him not all of it is lottery based. He's an active veteran tho and his grades are average and he was able to get in because I bet it's because he's in the military.

They told him once they "picked" the applicants, then they do lottery on the other applicants.

Hi everyone ! For those who are applying at valley college make sure you schedule your appointment with the counselor to approve your pre reqs. I just got back and I was told to turn the signed off sheet to the department the second week of April in order to get an application for the program

Thanx! I need to do this, did you just call and make an apt with any regular counselor? Should I just say for my pre req eval??

you call on tuesdays only ! @8:00am and request an appointment with a counselor to review pre reqs for the nursing program. :)

hello guys i just took the teas test for the first time at pierce yesterday afternoon, i don't know what to think I studied for about two months but i have the feeling i didn't do well.I'll get my results next week. I'm a good student I did both practice test A and B from the ATI website I got 72 and 70 but the real test was much harder. I'm feeling so sad

hey I did the same thing you did and I got a %59.3 I was so depressed.. but be positive you might have done good !!

The test was def harder than I thought had nothing to do with the practice tests .. the time didn't help either .. now I'm just waiting to see when they send me through remediation :/

thank you! I just hope for the best. What is the remediation plan about? they mentioned yesterday but didn't give any detail they only say if someone don't pass they will contact with you.
